Community and Environment Relations
The Bottle to Bottle Project
Osotspa has continued the Bottle-to-Bottle project for the fourth consecutive year, applying circular economy principles to raise awareness of glass bottle waste. Glass bottle waste is a valuable material that can create livelihoods and strengthen communities, as glass can be 100% recycled an unlimited number of times.
The Company piloted the project with communities around its headquarters in the Hua Mak area and later expanded it to communities surrounding its manufacturing plants in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Under the project, communities appoint representatives to purchase and collect glass bottle waste from community members and sell it to waste collection shops or glass bottle factories. The Company provides waste bins for glass bottle separation, gives guidance on proper waste sorting, and promotes appropriate environmental management. The project also supports the sustainable protection of natural ecosystems, reduction of deforestation, and responsible use of resources. In addition, the amount of collected waste is recorded, and the Company contributes THB 0.50 for every 1 kilogram of glass bottles collected by the community. The fund is used to provide necessary items, organize public benefit activities, or support underprivileged groups according to community needs, such as building community sports areas, multi-purpose concrete fields, and installing solar-powered lighting to increase electricity access and improve community safety. In 2025, the project engaged more than 215 households, 4 juristic entities, and 1 school, and generated income for waste collection representatives from four communities. The Company also participated in the Care the Whale project by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, providing glass bottle waste collection bins to more than 40 listed companies participating in the project, as well as Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan Province.
